Chiaksan recreational forest located near the city has harmonious forest and strange rocks, especially with its beautiful autumn foliage scenary. It has trail passing by lightening rock with dense woods of ash tree, oak tree, fatsia tree, birch tree which preserves nature itself. Also, at the top, Namdaebong peak and even Birobong peak can be seen.

If lightening rock trail is too long, there is a 1hour walking trail. There are pension style forest house, comfortable clay room, fragrance log house, lawn square, resting area and view point and other facilities.

tip

It is easy to think the forest lodge is located at Chiaksan as its name indicates, but actually I is located at Baekunsan. It is located at the highest place among Korean forest lodges, so there's no insects and always blowing cool wind.
